Highway North Project LOCATION
Athabasca Basin Overview
Deep drilling success (i.e. beyond the unconformity and into the basement rock) by Nexgen and Fission has fundamentally shifted the deposit model in the Basin. As such, the target at the Highway North Uranium Project is sheer hosted mineralization, at a depth of between 100 and 500 m. The Millennium Deposit (Cameco) is a sheer-controlled basement-hosted deposit.
-Multiple surface samples taken in 2018 assayed as high as 4,530ppm uranium (0.453%) along with a north-south trend which is on strike with the Highway Zone, where a backpack drill hole section graded 2.31% U over 29 cm in a calc-silicate unit. The project is also proximal to the DD Uranium Zone.
